Again, Cicero has it backwards.
The TeaBaggers in the GOP have shut down govt.  They cannot accept that a black man is
the US President.  They never got over that FACT and that FACT was reinforced when he
was reelected in '12.

The government shut down 17 times since 1976 - ALL WHITE PRESIDENTS.  Please explain?  Minorities shut down government because of a white president?  Please...Spare me!

Enough of the bull sh!t racism rhetoric.  Government shut downs are not new to the federal government.

Yes.  The Govt was shut down for various reasons.  This time because the TeaBaggers and their supporters
can't accept that the USA elected a black President. (twice)

The TeaBaggers will have to live with a major success of Obama's presidency... Obamacare.  The
GOP may not survive the impact of opposing it.

Prior to 1980, everything kept on running pretty normally during budget impasses. True
shutdowns didn't happen until after a series of Justice Department rulings at the tail end of the
Carter administration. Since then, there have been a handful of shutdowns prompted by garden
variety disagreements over funding levels for defense and domestic programs, but they've been
so brief as to be barely noticeable. The only exception was the long shutdown of 1995, prompted
by Newt Gingrich's demands.

So when you hear someone saying that there have been loads of government shutdowns in the
past and this one is really nothing new, it just isn't true. In practice, there's only been one serious
shutdown in recent history, and like this one, it was the product of Republican ultimatums.

Yeah, that's it!  They REALLY like the Obamacare law and see its benefit, but want to stop its implementation because the President is black.  Their deep seeded racism overrides the alleged benefits they will receive from the law.

How TO End The GOP Shutdown:

Quoted Text
"In the hours since the government shut down, House Republicans have slowly but
steadily been coming forward to say they're ready to pass a bill to fund the government with
no strings attached," Huffington Post reports.

"As of Wednesday afternoon, the number of those Republicans hit 18 -- surpassing the magic
17 votes needed to pass a clean funding bill if all 200 Democrats stick together and team
up with them. Of course, House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) would have to be willing to
put that bill on the floor in the first place. But if he did, the votes appear to be there for
passage, at which point the bill would sail through the Senate and be signed by President
Barack Obama, ending the shutdown."

the republicans LOVE the ACA....there are a ton of loopholes/rebates and robbing peter to pay paul and it keeps them status quo..

no one loses $$ here except for those of us who have healthcare through our employers that are part of our 'wage package'...you know the after 5 years your part is ----, after 10 years your part is-----..........benefits earned will be taken

once those excise taxes take effect we'll all get dumped and have to pay 5 times the amount...

the republicans AND the democrats are using 'the teabag excuse'.....remember this is mind manipulation 101...
HAVE A COMMON ENEMY......

as far as the debt ceiling/budgeting....a whole different conversation....the media and the public are mixing them up.....

no one is holding anyone hostage....it's a dog and pony show that I would like to thank the government(status quo) for
screwing us over....

remember...companies don't need 40week workers anymore....so if we work 30hours week how will we afford the insurance?

BACK TO SQUARE 1.......

OH WAIT....raising the minimum wage will help...hahahahahaha....it doesn't change how the hamster wheel turns....the only
industry that will benefit from a rise in the minimum wage is the drug industry entrepreneurs.....your pot will cost more...

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Ted Cruz is a closet Klansman...He really loves Obamacare, but his allegiance to the Klan makes him oppose it, because he must not let a black man succeed.  He is part of the Hispanic sect of the Klan.  I don't know how everybody can't see it, it is so obvious.

Not something that should be of concern to you.

So your view as a Libertarian is that any no Americans should be concerned that other Americans are losing jobs or having their hours or benefits slashed because of the incompetence of Obama and the Democratic Caucus in Congress?

The simple solution to the problem -- furlough (without pay) the President, Vice President and ALL of Congress since they are the unnecessary personnel -- and put the rest of the Federal Government back to work.

Each week that Republican politicians refuse to end the shutdown of the federal government
results in 200 cancer patients being unable to enroll in treatment programs at the National Institutes
of Health, 30 of them children.

The NIH Clinical Center is often the last hope of very ill patients.

Reid won't pass the bill keeping the NIH Clinical Center open.  It's all or nothing for those Democrats...They are actually willing to kill children.

Earlier on Wednesday, Reid was engaged in a terse back and forth with CNN reporter Dana Bash, who asked him why the Senate wouldn’t consider passing a bill to fund the National Institutes of Health, after reports that some young cancer patients were being kept out of clinical trials because of the shutdown.

“If you can help one child who has cancer, why wouldn’t you do it?,” Bash asked.

“Why would we want to do that?,” Reid shot back. “I have 1,100 people at Nellis Air Force base that are sitting home. They have a few problems of their own.

No, I meant that you don't have to worry because it would only affect people who work a 40 hour job.

You also shouldn't be bad mouthing the Democrats since you are a member of  the Rotterdam Democratic committee.
