As the government shutdown gets merged with the upcoming fight to raise the debt ceiling,
a new CNN poll finds that 56% of Americans said it would be a bad thing if the debt ceiling
was not raised, with 38% saying it would be a good thing for the country.
If the debt ceiling isn't raised:
53% would blame Republicans
31% would blame President Obama. |

What an embarrassment...Apparently the only thing that bonds Americans together is a Federal Government. If the federal government shuts down, Americans are divided. Ignore the antics of the federal government and go help your neighbor, regardless of party affiliation. What a disgrace this nation has become.  |

Again, Cicero has it backwards. The TeaBaggers in the GOP have shut down govt. They cannot accept that a black man is the US President. They never got over that FACT and that FACT was reinforced when he was reelected in '12. Americans are united in their support of ObamaCare which they will make abundantly clear in the 2014 elections. Can you imagine the GOP TeaBaggers running on a campaign of: "Vote for us, we want to take away your health insurance!" |
