The actual vets who organized the rally wanted an apolitical event where all vets could attend.

From your link

Quoted Text
Who can attend?
Vets, their spouses, children, friends, neighbors – everyone who thinks enough is enough!

So where does it say except liberals

"In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, brave, hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, however, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a Patriot."

If you follow Cicero's link, to the page he posted you will see this:

Not much doubt that it was a TeaBagger infested Rally!

The actual vets who organized the rally wanted an apolitical event where all vets could attend.

Yes, politicians shut down open air memorials and blockaded them.  How can it not be political?  How else do you open the memorials if not through political pressure and your 1st Amendment right?

I don't think you do, if you did you would know the Navy adopted it, go look at the 1st Navy Jack. So is all of the Navy now Tea Party supporters?

~ The timber rattlesnake and eastern diamondback rattlesnake both populate the geographical areas of the original thirteen colonies. Their use as a symbol of the American colonies can be traced back to the publications of Benjamin Franklin.

~In 1754, during the French and Indian War, Franklin published his famous woodcut of a snake cut into eight sections.

~ As the American Revolution grew, the snake began to see more use as a symbol of the colonies. In 1774, Paul Revere added it to the title of his paper

~The Culpeper Minutemen flag has a coiled rattlesnake and the same motto as the Gadsden flag. It has a white field, rather than yellow, and the additional motto "Liberty or Death" and the name "The Culpeper Minute Men". It is the flag of Virginia volunteers from the Culpeper area.

~

~ Athletic apparel company Nike uses the image of a rattlesnake coiled around a soccer ball for an ongoing, patriotic "Don't Tread On Me" campaign in support of the United States men's national soccer team.

The flag or similar ones have been used throughout history... And today it is the symbol of the TeaBaggers.

Read the text yourself.  They were against a group of POLITICAL hacks hijacking their NON POLITICAL
rally.

Why would you march on Washington if it isn't politician?  Why not have the march in Key West or Toledo Ohio?

Which veterans group organized the rally?

The Tea Party uses it, it doesn't mean they own it or it somehow eliminates its history. The 2nd picture is the Navy Jack by the way.

Yea, that's why I posted it.  That flag has represented a large number of groups throughout history
and it's morphed into many different forms.  Today it's the adopted symbol of TeaBaggers.

Google Tea Party Flag and see what shows up:

They are all variations of the same theme.

Are you really denying that the typical Gadsden flag represents today's teaBaggers???

I admit they use it but they don't own it, I have a Gadsden flag tattoo, it doesn't mean I'm a Tea Party member or a member of the Navy. To me it has its own meaning and symbolism.

So if code pink decided to use the Marine Corps logo for their new symbol should I tie you in with them? or would that be different now

No one uses the USMC logo except by permission.  It DOES represent the Marines and it IS trademarked.

Yea... I'm afraid that I'm still recovering from hearing about your tattoo.  I need a cup of TEA to recover.
