Quoted from Libertarian4life
I could have ended the Syria chemical weapon issue in one afternoon.

I would have offered a brand new fully automatic rifle for each small canister turned in and a bazooka for the large ones.

Yeah, America should just sponsor a chemical weapon buy-back program.  A $50 gift certificate to Walmart for every canister of sarin gas turned in.

The United States and Russia "have reached an agreement that
calls for Syria's arsenal of chemical weapons to be removed or destroyed
by the middle of 2014,"

the New York Times

"If President Bashar al-Assad of Syria fails to comply with the agreement, the issue will be
referred to the United Nations Security Council. Mr. Kerry said that any violations would then
be taken up under Chapter 7 of the United Nations Charter, which authorizes punitive action.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

While the political theater has been a bit much it's good to see Russia and the USA working together to improve a world wide problem. Let's hope it sticks.

it's all a bunch of bullsh!t that they are trying to sell THE WORLD!!! Killing isn't equal! Why did the world sit back when millions were being slaughtered in Dufar? Would the world have taken notice if instead of using guns/knives they used chemical weapons???

Or is it because Dufar posed no monetary threat to the great united states?

Come on sheople..........when will you all wake up to this scam and corruption at the expense of the innocent?
