See on the bottom.   "Get all of your housing questions answered."

Can you see it now.

"Mr Mayor, I'm looking at such and such house, you have it assessed for $150,000, it's been offered for sale for a year and the price is down to $80,000. Will I get my assessment lowered to the real value of the house?"

"Mr Mayor, is all this home buying going to help hold the line on the taxes or is this just going to help put mor money into the hands of Galesi and friends?"

"Mr Mayor, I have a payment table in front of me.  By these numbers, the value of my house even by next year will be worth less than I owe on it, that means I will be underwater on my mortgage.  Will the city or the realtors or the banks come to my rescue for a loan modification of any sort?"

"Mr Mayor, if I need to sell because of job relocation, or some other non-choice reason, and since home values are falling in the city, and if I can't sell my house for what is owed on it, do you have it worked out with the banks that I will absolve me of the amount owed in excess of the sale price?"

What a joke!

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Mr. Mayor, why don't the people who are benefitting from the high taxes buy these houses for themselves, if they are such good deals?

Mr. Mayor, how close is this house to Becker Street/Hamilton Hill/ Mont Pleasant/ the North Side?
