Mayor McCarthy and his team are doing a great job in the city. Keep up the good work.
Really? Rest assured, not one shred of EVIDENCE will be produced.
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
If you put nothing down and mortgaged the whole amount, you would still be paying more in taxes each month than for the actual cost if the house.
Feel bad for the owners. At a quick glance it looks like a lovely house, but I don't see why anyone would be willing to pay those taxes when there are so many cheaper options in surrounding areas. A "cheap" house here is still more costly than expensive houses elsewhere.

Hence, the REASON WHY properties cannot sell in the City.
To pay MORE in taxes than your monthly mortgage payment is fiscally insane! Middle class homeowners aren't stupid...they aren't moving to a high crime, high tax, sub-par school system area...it's a bad investment.
Even if you buy a home for less than $100K, once you do ANY improvements, the assessor is salivating at your doorstep with a bogus increase.
We need to have an across-the-board tax decrease as the downtown businesses get off the PILOTS and into the tax base.

...
And IF you put nothing down, you'd be underwater on the mortgage within months. In some cases you can put $10,000 down and still be underwater in a short time.
A typo, it was listed for sale in 2012, not 2102. Rather surprised that guy who claims the city is improving didn't come post on here trying to say I lie and distort.
Notice that the guy who claims the city is in a renaissance won't speak about the homes for sale and how they are not selling and how the prices are way way below what the city says they'll sell for.
