I wish I had known about compulsory schooling by 2nd grade. I would have challenged the reason for the daily pledge of allegiance, and the lionizing of Lincoln the murder and FDR, instead of being indoctrinated to believe they are American hero's because some state worker told me so.
School curriculum for determining heroic president - who killed the most people in the name of the flag is most heroic. That's why Barack has to go into Syria, he needs to increase his body count to make the school history books as a hero or liberator. In 100 year, GW Bush will be one of the great presidents, he fits the formula. Nation attacked by terrorist, kills thousands, he retaliates by invading 2 countries and bombing 7 others, death toll in the millions - AMERICAN HERO! Kindergarteners will be dressing up like GW Bush and singing songs of praise, and coloring pictures of him a century from now, being told how he saved the country.
It appears that my assessment of Cicero in 2nd grade was correct! |

Sorry Cicero, but my elementary education looked more like this: |

Sorry. I forgot you learned your obedience a little later.
I joined the military... I knew exactly what that meant. I gave back to my country for some portion of what my country had given to me. I am a part of my city, my county, my state, my country... I want to pay my fair share of taxes, and I don't whine (like you do) when I pay my taxes. You show your view of "service" when you post about "obedience". You reluctantly "OBEY" when you pay your taxes. For you, taxes, town or city zoning, even stop signs are a terrible curse, demanded of you, and you are forced to "OBEY"! IMO this has more to do with your personality than it does with your politics. You resent every govt action that FORCES you to "OBEY"! |

Rand Paul Praises Assad
Quoted Text
WASHINGTON - Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Sunday portrayed the current conflict in Syria as one between the government of President Bashar Al Assad, who Paul said "has protected Christians for a number of decades," and "Islamic rebels," who Paul said "have been attacking Christians" and are aligned with Al Qaeda.
"I think the Islamic rebels winning is a bad idea for the Christians, and all of a sudden we'll have another Islamic state where Christians are persecuted," Paul said on NBC's "Meet the Press."
I wonder if Rand Paul would have kissed up to Saddam Hussein before the Iraq War... after all Saddam Hussein used Chemical weapons on the Kurds, and Saddam Hussein PROTECTED CHRISTIANS TOO!
Maybe Rand could swing a "Rumsfled deal" and get some really deadly Chemical Weapons to give to Syria.http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/09/01/rand-paul-syria_n_3852644.html |

Stop me if you've heard this one: "The U.S. has proof of weapons of mass destruction and we need to invade" |

Quoted Text
Saudi Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal told foreign ministers meeting in Cairo that condemnation of Syria over the poison gas attack, which U.S. officials say killed 1,429 people, was not enough. He said opposing international action on the grounds that it was "foreign intervention" was no longer acceptable.
"Any opposition to any international action would only encourage Damascus to move forward with committing its crimes and using all weapons of mass destruction," said Faisal.
"The time has come to call on the world community to bear its responsibility and take the deterrent measure that puts a halt to the tragedy."

It's too late.
We already look like idiots and Obama has proven himself, yet again, to be a weak, buffoonish, clueless amateur. |

The guy probably joined after 9/11 to go after Al Qaeda, now the traitor in chief wants him to help Al Qaeda in their goal. How many people were arrested for aiding the enemy over the years, those who help Al Qaeda or give the ok should be arrested, just like that American Taliban who was arrested in Afghanistan. |

Absolutely! Politics is choosing who governs. You didn't agree with Bush invading Iraq, but your belief in "we" allows you to take ownership of the political decision. Even if only 9% of Americans support military action in Syria, 91% are supposed to take responsibility for the governments action if it decides to enter yet another Middle East conflict. Rest assured box, it isn't only government collectivism that I don't identify with, there are many collectives I don't identify with. Goverement just happens to be the worst because it uses coercion to force a collective identity. |
