Numerous people in the Glens Falls region reported that their homes shook Sunday morning, and a 2.3 magnitude earthquake was confirmed to have been centered 5 miles south of Warrensburg. No damage was reported.

The movement was felt just after 9:30 a.m. A Warren County emergency dispatcher said a slight tremor was felt at the county center, and the agency field a half-dozen or so calls about it from the Queensbury area. A rumbling could also be heard from the temblor.

A Washington County dispatcher also reported feeling the quake in Fort Edward, but said no problems were reported.

The U.S. Geological Survey website confirmed the quake a half-hour or so later Sunday, reporting it was centered 5 miles south/southeast of Warrensburg

Minor earthquakes in the Adirondacks and Catskills are actually rather common, and don't forget that there are 3 significant fault lines in our area -- #1) along the Hudson River-Lake Champlain "valley" #2) along the Mohawk River Valley and #3) along along a line through the Schoharie Valley up through the Sacandaga River valley..

And from where did you copy and paste that?

But you can't find ANYTHING to copy and paste to support your claims that the city is improving or that the county taxes are lowest in 50 years, huh??????

It's much noted that you avoid talking about the city anymore as you can't accept the challenge of proof that the things you say are true.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
