In the old Mohawk Club building across the street from the First Reformed Church.

The only place left in the City to book large events/weddings. Has jazz in the lounge Thursday and Friday nights. Parking across Union St.

There are other places in the city to book large events or weddings -- Holiday Inn, the old Key Bank building, Dolce Vita, Petta's .. just to name a few quickly.

the old Key Bank building
Just say Key Hall you know the NON profit that is supposed to hold NON profit events but only has
very high priced weddings etc.

Hey if I charge a fee and let people come over and watch movies on my TV can I be considered a non profit?  I'll make sure to add something
"educational" in my title.

I think the Stockade Inn is beautiful. I saw one review where the reviewer was not impressed with anything but the decor, though. I don't have personalexperience of it, I just know a prospective bride who was scouting out places that reflect the area, for sentimental reasons. Holiday Inn keeps up with the remodeling and all, but they could be in Peoria and you wouldn't know the difference. This same bride-to-be caught a glimpse of Key Hall on television and pronounced it "harsh, cold, and sterile".
Some of the local places aren't really large enough for some weddings.
I'm going to become a NFP because I go out sometimes and see what neighborhood kids might be up to. I may as well become a community organizer or something and draw a salary. I have some relatives who would be perfect to sit on a board, or be vice this-or-that.
