Someone within the US Senate edited Edward Snowden’s Wikipedia page to change his description from ‘dissident’ to ‘traitor’
Posted on August 4, 2013 by Blogger
Daily Mail

A member of the US Senate was caught this week trying to make a rather conspicuous edit to Edward Snowden’s Wikipedia page .

In a move sure to grind the gears of conspiracy theorists everywhere, a member of the US Senate recently edited Snowden’s Wikipedia page from describing him as a ‘dissident’ to a traitor, according to the entry’s changelog. The user’s IP address was quickly traced back to the US Senate.

It is not clear if the person is an active Senator, a staffer or an intern, but the change certainly came from the Senate.

He is a traitor to the government, he's not a traitor to the American citizens.  The Senate edit reflects the government's definition.

Proof that Wikipedia is a government propaganda tool.

traitor:
one who betrays another's trust or is false to an obligation or duty

He didn't betray my trust.  As a matter of fact, he did the exact opposite.

Really?  Any actual FACTS, or is some blog post enough to convince you?

It is not surprising that someone from the Senate might be involved with Snowden.  Ted Kennedy's office supplied Daniel Ellsberg with the classified material that we all know as the "Pentagon Papers."   Funny thing is that while Ellsberg faced legal hassles for the incident, NOBODY -- Ted Kennedy nor his staff was ever made to answer legally for leaking classified national security information.  But then again Ted Kennedy literally got away with killing someone so what do  political dirty tricks and treason matter.

It isn't a bogus scandal because the Obama administration is spying on its won citizens.  Don't forget, Obama and all of his cabinet members/top officials took an oath to defend the United States from all enemies "foreign and domestic."    So while some consider Mr. Snowden's acts possibly treasonous (I am reserving judgment on that issue), I believe that Obama and his administration violated their oaths of office and not only haven't defended us from domestic enemies -- they have become the domestic enemies to Liberty, our Constitutional republic and the rule of law derived from the consent of the governed.
