I was going down Guilderland towards the city when the smashed SUV came flying by with 10 cops on his asss.

I swerved into the Point Restaurant to not get hit.

They went down Guilderland took a left on Curry and he ended up inside the bank across from Price Chopper.

Around 50 cop cars everywhere. Fire trucks, paramedics.

Altamont Ave was closed.

They went down my street at one point. It was crazy. Six cops flying down the road chasing, siren going off everywhere. One of the cop cars stopped and pulled stuff out of their trunk. I'm guessing it was some more serious guns, but I wasn't quite close enough to tell for sure. I listened to the scanner, at one point they were driving the wrong way on 890.  Lucky that no one innocent got killed the way they all were driving. It was something!

They were all over the place--and fast---I'm hearing that it was a female driver. Wonder what set the whole thing off.

She probably bought the last half dozen of jelly filled donuts at the donut shop, and that triggered an a.p.b. and the high speed chase.

RP and LL- you both took pictures of police personnel. Perhaps you will be sent to jail for 15 years and then you will lose everything! Be careful!

JOHNSTOWN - A Gloversville woman, who police said tried to run down an officer with her vehicle, faces state prison time after pleading guilty Thursday in Fulton County Court.

Natasha Popolizio, 22, of Route 29A, Gloversville, pleaded guilty before Judge Richard C. Giardino to a charge of first-degree reckless endangerment.

Sentencing was adjourned until a later date, but she is expected to receive one to three years in state prison as part of a plea arrangement.

Police said she tried to run down an officer on Feb. 21, 2008, in an incident on the streets of Gloversville. The incident started on Spring Street and ended on South Main Street.

Popolizio was initially charged with reckless endangerment, driving while ability impaired, unlawfully fleeing from police, no seatbelt and various other vehicle and traffic charges.
