The Senate Votes 56-43 To Confirm Loretta Lynch

What can you expect from the GOP when a Black Woman is nominated.

Just the kind of  coverage you would expect from a liberal political website.

In a contentious back and forth with constituents at a public meeting in Kingman, Arizona,
a Republican congressman, Paul Gosar, tried to allay fears over so-called chemtrails only to have
his explanations swatted away with one man yelling:
“We don’t need science!”

Arizona has become Ground Zero for conspiracy theorists who claim that the government or the
“New World Order” is attempting to control the populace and the environment by spraying chemicals
into the air from passing airplanes.

Jenner Says He’s a Transgender Republican
(Wow, is he screwed!)

Former track and field Olympian Bruce Jenner acknowledged to ABC News that he was a
transgender American.
“The more shocking revelation for many, however, was Jenner’s admission that in addition
to identifying as a woman, he also identified as a conservative Republican.”

Tom DeLay: People keep forgetting that God ‘wrote the Constitution’

Quoted Text
“I think we got off the track when we allowed our government to become a secular
government,” DeLay explained. “When we stopped realizing that God created this nation,
that he wrote the Constitution, that it’s based on biblical principles.”

There is nothing divine about the constitution.  It was meant to be a set of rules to limit when a small group of people with guns can threaten you with violence to get you to comply with their every demand.  If completely failed.

Who would have thunk it.  Box blaming Republicans for not giving $300 million to a for-profit corporation.  This is a great example of what happens when the federal government tries to manage a corporation.  Never makes money, service sucks, and dangerous.

The National Railroad Passenger Corporation, doing business as Amtrak, is a publicly funded railroad service operated and managed as a for-profit corporation.
Have used AMTRAK service many times and found it efficient and comfortable. Countries all over the world (especially Europe and Asia) have found the means of making
rail transport safe, efficient and profitable.  Seems US can't find the formula!
