The Fox News audience skews more ideological than that of its two main competitors. Fully, 60% of Fox News viewers describe themselves as conservative, compared with 23% who say they are moderate and 10% who are liberal, according to a 2012 survey by the Pew Research Center. By contrast, the ideological makeup of CNN viewers (32% conservative, 30% moderate, 30% liberal) and MSNBC viewers (32% conservative, 23% moderate, 36% liberal) is far more mixed.
the problem ISN'T with fox/nbc etc...but with the public who failed to learn HOW to think INSTEAD of WHAT to think...
oh,,,it's foundational...and you can't build a government with it.....

In 2012, the party lost big with women, who voted for President Barack Obama and other Democrats by huge margins. The RNC’s Priebus commissioned an “autopsy” report to determine what went wrong, and found that the Republican Party’s viciously anti-woman rhetoric about rape and abortion has driven women away from the party.
But, rather than soften their anti-choice position, Republicans appear braced and ready to spend another year hammering away at women’s right to choose.
She welcomed BuzzFeed’s DC bureau chief John Stanton, who explained that opposition to abortion rights is one of the last things the GOP can use as a means of uniting its base.
“They see this as a very good political issue,” Stanton said. “They don’t have an illusions that this will actually pass” and that abortion will become illegal. They just see it as a way to “gin up their base.”
Most Democrats look at this strategy, Maddow said, and say, “I can’t believe Republicans are shooting themselves in the foot like this.”
Lets hope that the GOP keeps on shooting!

TeaBagger General To Lead Military Coup Against Obama!
Quoted Text
A retired Army general and Fox News analyst told a Tea Party group that he would lead a military coup against the U.S. government
Paul Vallely, a retired major general and senior military analyst for the conservative news channel, told the Surprise, Arizona, Tea Party Patriots during a Dec. 3 speech that other retired military personnel and veterans groups had contacted him about the possibility.
“I had a call this afternoon from Idaho, the gentleman said, ‘If I give you 250,000 Marines to go to Washington, will you lead them?’” Vallely said as the group laughed and gasped. “I said, ‘Yes, I will, I’ll surround the White House and I’ll surround the Capitol building, but it’s going to take physical presence to do things.” (One Problem... There are less than 200,000 total Marines in the Corps!)
Vallely, who has suggested a variety of extra-constitutional remedies to remove President Barack Obama from office, said extraordinary means were necessary to achieve the legislative results he wanted.
The retired general has suggested that a new George Washington could be drawn from the ranks of retired military personnel to lead an insurrection because his aims could not be achieved even through this year’s congressional midterm elections.
“I don’t want to be criticized for starting a revolution, but I’d certainly head it if we had to,” Vallely said as the crowd applauded. “We all love a good fight if it’s worth it, right?”
And These @ssholes Call Themselves Patriots...

The problem with you is you want to tell people what to think. You should have learned how to think. Maybe if you would emerge from your mom's basement and get off her computer and do something productive for a change......you'll never do that. You just want push buttons all every day and rant and try to tell people what to think. Can't wait for your "stinging" response. No kidding. I really can't wait. Why? I have a life!!!! Which includes having a job and being productive. See you later leech!

it was a question...I wasn't telling anyone WHAT to think....I was asking what someone thought...are you afraid to answer?

A Republican lawmaker admitted yesterday that his party is having difficulty moving forward with immigration reform due to deeply rooted racist animus expressed by a portion of their own constituent base.
In an interview with Buzzfeed, the Southern congressman, who wished to remain anonymous, explained that members of his party felt handcuffed and unable to pass a comprehensive immigration reform package due to fear of push back from hometown constituents.
“Part of it, I think — and I hate to say this, because these are my people — but I hate to say it, but it’s racial,” admitted the lawmaker. “If you go to town halls people say things like, ‘These people have different cultural customs than we do.’ And that’s code for race.”

Hmmm...Irish, Italians, and Germans, have different cultural customs, I didn't know recognizing that was code for race. I thought the opposition was because they broke the law. Maybe "break the law" is code for race.

Re Read the text Cissy. You got it backwards, yet again.
The story is about REPUBLICANS defining REPUBLICANS! The REPUBLICAN Congressman complains that HE CAN'T PASS ANY IMMIGRATION LEGISLATION BECAUSE OF HIS OWN PARTY'S RACISM.
THE GOP has been the home of Southern Racists ever since the civil rights acts of the 60's when the racists switched parties!

I did read it. It doesn't say who this mysterious republican is - how convenient. I don't care if the unnamed source was a communist, it still doesn't mean he/she can start making up some kind of new coded language with different meanings.
If 11 million Americans immigrated to Egypt, bringing along a culture where alcohol, porn, promiscuity and fast food is common, I'm not sure if the Egyptian resistance to the cultural change would be considered racist.
Question - does a nation have a right to preserve the cultural norms from outside influence?
