Why pay your taxes , a house on evergreen ave hasn't paid theirs in years ,yet our taxes still go up .The house in question is the same one that vicious dogs have attacked people and neighbors pets ,the code officials have been their numerous times ,yet the property resembles something of a third world country .

this is renaissance/perfect democrap world

It means there will be democraps elected no matter what, just like Schitcity. Lowlifes galore means ONE PARTY RULE YAY!

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

this am at a church...911 was called....and even someone drove to the Police station.....CHILD LOCKED IN CAR ......police stated ..."out on emergency"

paramedic car drove by.....tried to flag down....but kept on going....police did not respond.....somehow a passerby had a lock opener and opened the car

door...finally over radio ...dispatch called a cop and stated "disregard........

What is more important than a child locked in a car....nice going RPD...thank goodness the clouds were out

and it wasn't 99 deg.....

this event went on for many minutes.....

Incredible.  Let me guess, was it that, um, "pastor" Charlie's church, that up and coming town & city welfare office an Hamburg St?   You know, "worthing together" - Schenectady and Rotterdam

Yes, call police, if police don't respond, write a note on paper, hand to the minister to go to the mircrophone (or you/the witness to the incident) go to the microphone and interrupt, "sorry to interrupt, we have an emergency in the parking lot, a child has been left in a locked car, license plate...."

What is more amazing about this is, that a church congregation was unable to take action without permission of the "authorities".  Just call the police and TELL THEM, you are going to break into a locked car with a child in it.  Break the window if you have to.

Does doing what is right require permission?

the mass was going on.....no one inside knew what was happening outside........the window would have been broken...but a good samaritan happened by

with a jigger to open the lock.......it was in God's hands at that point....no need for permission.....no need at all.....hey, the police were on another

emergency.....how many cars do we have available on a Sunday.....in summer???......evidently, not enough to cover the citizens of this town.

wow....just amazed at how protected we are...

"Disregard?"

So just because a passerby unlocked the car, that means the RPD can "disregard????"

So the RPD did not come at all?   Did not come and wait for an adult to come out to the car?

So did the kid get out of the car after?   How old was the kid?   Did the passerby or anyone wait for the parent to come out and sueprvisse the chidl in the meantime?

you didn't get the whole story straight....the child was left in the locked car as they got out to go into the church...accidently ...the adults

and their friends were all  going into the church when this happened....many people were in this group....the child was never alone.

...the parents were there....the child believed  to be a baby...the fact that a passerby helped shows how much people need people....

and yes...response from dispatch was....."disregard" after no cop showed up, police car went by, and the door had been opened

by the passerby...then  dispatch  called cop to "disregard"...when original  call made to dispatch, RPD stated "out on an

emergency"  people were frantic and yelled out thank you Rotterdam....and probably other expletitives...

believe this is what happened....AT NO TIME WAS THE CHILD LEFT ALONE......parents were present and were frantic...

and the event had a happy ending....thanks to a good samaritan.

Well if that's the case, then it wasn't an emergency.  The child was never alone, and never in threat of danger.  Have a person drive you home and get the spare set of keys, break the window, or pony up the $100 and call the locksmith to come and unlock the door.

I'm no apologist for police, but the situation described wasn't an emergency.

police are for EMERGENCY, NOT to do the thinking/work of people

I know....it can be insidious
