It says "1 family" on the city assessment roll (this is the July 1 2013 roll)
Now look at the county records - which come from city assessor records:
What do you notice?
--- One family, style = row (all the real estate ads advertise it as a condo or townhouse)
--- County records from Stratton & Mc'C's assessment records show two (2) bathrooms. But look at the real estate ad! Lists four (4) bathrooms! Actually a more detailed ad says 3.1 bathrooms.
--- County records (from city assessor records) have only one (1) kitchen indicated but check these out! A kitchen sink constitute s kitchen!!!!!!
Kitchen #1:'
Kitchen #2:
Look at the county record above which comes from the puppet assessors of Stratton and McC that state the number of fireplaces as what??????? How many fireplaces does the city (and county) say is in that house? How many?????? A BIG ZERO!!!!:
But the FACT is, the TRUTH is, and the EVIDENCE shows what?????? FOUR (4) fireplaces!!
And how much have the financially struggling taxpayers of the city had to subsidize King Phillip in underpaid taxes because of an under-assessed property????????
Yep, the dems at the city & county take care of their political cronies, and all the green goes to King Phillip! FOR SHAME.
There are homeowners who own two or three family houses, the owners live in one flat and do NOT rent the other one or two flats. But the city FORCES them to pay 2 or 3 garbage fees! But King Phillip has two kitchens, 4 fireplaces, and 3.1 bathrooms and the city and he are in collusion to create false records!
Was on a roll on this. It's past bed time. Honey is calling.
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
Get this info out to the media!!! Start with Vandenburg and the TU!!!
Good work MC1....as ususal!!!

The cheerleaders continue their campaign of lies, distortions and misinformation but those of us who are intelligent and reasonable know that these folks are just full of bull poop.
The former Key Bank building has been the venue for quite a number of very nice--and all expensive--events -- a for-profit business making money and not paying taxes, owned by one who has deliberately lied to the assessor. I don't know if the new Key Bank near Erie Blvd is a lot easier to get in and out of as I would never support a financial institution that assists in ripping off the taxpayer, and the old bank has been taken off the tax rolls thus contributing to a lower tax base in the city. Now--as I understand it, dem cheerleaders are hoping to get the state to allow McC and his political cronies to rip the taxpayers off more to build a high-rise resort hotel and casino in that huge parking lot behind Proctor's--tax exempt of course with all the profit split between King Philip, McC, Dag, Ray and their cronies.

i personally don't care what anyone says in support of this.....the TRUTH is out there now....(thank you mc1)
Now it needs to go to the MEDIA! vandenburg and/or TU....cause the gazetto will just white wash it....of course!

That garbage fee should've just been a commercial property fee anyway. I know of so many two-family homes with just one older parent living in the second flat. That is no different from a single family house. The whole tax thing, they are determined to give breaks to certain ones and stick it to others, it isn't funny. A two-family house, it is easier to rent outtwo units than it is to rent out a large single family home, so I was wondering why this one wasn't rented out that way, but then I realized, that would be acknowledging that it is indeed that kind of house. The owner is in quite a quandary, isn't he? Oh, well.
people tell funny stories to save money for friends
"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."
Indeed they do. We should start referring to the city council meetings as "story hour", and to local newspaper reporters as "writers". Charles Dickens started out doing serialized stories for the paper, I believe.
mc1 amazing find. Can you bring this info to the council meeting and present it? Live on openstage media
Sad that this is simply scratching the surface of the 'friends and family' club. Like to know who in the assessors office is getting paid to lie and distort the truth.
Very well done MC1!! When are you running for City Council??

Can't run for city council. Not eligible. I wouldn't move into that failing city if I won the lottery (which is the only way I MIGHT be able to afford it.
While there are some things to like about living in the town, and we have nice neighbors on my street and such, the unfortunate thing is that this area is becoming the "Hamilton Hill" of Rotterdam. Some cheerleaders will talk about a renaissance, but increasing blight, the MULTITUDES of empty commercial sites, and the home sale prices, from Altamont Ave and east do not paint a good picture.

MC, that is something nobody understands about living in Schenectady - while Rotterdam may be declining, where you live isn't bad, and for ages, while I heard remarks from co-workers and so forth about "how can you live in Schenectady", my quality of life as it pertained to where I lived was actually better than theirs. It's only been since the governments got together to wreck it for everybody worldwide, that Schenectady has gotten really bad. Seriously. I knew people who lived in fancy places like Delmar, for instance, who were tormented by "gangs" of young kids who were allowed to roam around their developments, committing acts of petty vandalism, noise all night, etc. They aren't killing each other, sure, but I never had to actually move because of somebody's out-of-control teenage brat, and I actually know two different people from two different suburban developments who did just that. They listed their homes because of one family in their neighborhood who wouldn't rein in their boys. Decent, civil, behavior and consideration for one'sneighbors is something you can't buy. Anyway, until they messed up the schools and started gouging us to keep their little schemes going, it wasn't a hellhole here, not at all. That's why I get furious when people buy into these ridiculous "fixes" that invariably involve further destroying what is good about Schenectady.
