Marcella’s saw a much larger year-over-year increase of 7.7 percent, with a total of $14 million in major appliance sales last year. It was also the only Capital Region appliance firm to make the list, according to a news release issued by Schenectady County officials.
If that's true, then the financially struggling homeowners in the city have a birthright entitlement to an answer from the city and county DEMS as to why they (the homeowners) are forced under Hitlier-like order to pay the property taxes for Marcella's! Mayor McC says to homeowners, "You must pay Marcella's taxes or we (the city) will seize your house." And the EVIDENCE: Watch for the DEM cheerleader to cheer about Marcella's. But he will NEVER address the EVIDENCE that PROVES that all the tax money given to Marcella's and the tax exemptions, have caused misery in the city, how it has caused the tax base to drop, home values to drop, home sale prices to drop, financially struggling homeowners to be forced to pay drastically increasing taxes, how the neighborhoods are ignored, how peoples' cars are being damaged on Erie Blvd. etc etc |
