Spitzer gets endorsement from NYC Pastors
Quoted Text

A release from Spitzer's campaign refers to the endorsements as coming from "prominent New
York City pastors." It does not give a specific number of pastoral endorsements, saying only
that there were dozens. The release specifically names 11 pastors.

The release credits the endorsements to Spitzer's record of delivering results to the community.

Great...they can now share each other's call girl black books...
Once the election is over, Silda will formally announce she's divorcing Elliot, and it can be business as usual.

Well that settles it- if the clergy is for him, he must be good!

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Does Graham EVER post anything?
The only actual posts I've ever seen from Graham were about his (alleged) college days.

De Blasio Surges Ahead in New York Mayoral Race
A new Quinnipiac poll in New York City finds Bill de Blasio (D) surges ahead of the
Democratic pack for mayor with 36% of likely voters, followed by Christine Quinn
at 21 percent, Bill Thompson at 20%, Anthony Weiner at 8% and John Liu at 6%.

De Blasio is very close to the 40% threshold needed to avoid a runoff.

Stringer has had some pretty effective ads (I've seen them on SNY while watching the Mets lose night after night), but I still think Sptizer wins this one..although it will be closer than most expect.

Spitzer did the right thing and resigned.  If New Yorkers want Spitzer back, knowing his past, then they should
have him.

A new New York Times-Siena poll finds Eliot Spitzer crushing Scott Stringer in the Democratic
race for New York City Comptroller, 50% to 35%.

This contrasts with a Quinnipiac poll released yesterday which found the race a dead heat.

NYC Mayor
Quoted Text
A new Quinnipiac poll finds Bill de Blasio surging to 43% support among likely voters in the
Democratic primary for mayor, followed by William Thompson at 20%, Christine Quinn at 18%, Anthony
Weiner at 7% and John Liu at 4%.

If anyone exceeds 40% support in the primary there is no run off.

Said pollster Maurice Carroll: "Can Public Advocate Bill de Blasio keep his surge going for seven more days?
If he does, his first contribution could be to the New York City budget - saving the expense of a run-off
election."
