Obama in Africa: ‘The Planet Will Boil Over’ If Everybody Has a Car, Air Conditioning and a Big House Jul. 1, 2013 7:30pm Jason Howerton
Speaking at a town hall event in Johannesburg, South Africa, on Saturday, President Barack Obama claimed that “the planet will boil over” if everyone has access to air conditioning, automobiles and big houses.

Obama's a jack a** just like all the other left-wing nuts.

To complete Bumbler's post: “Ultimately, if you think about all the youth that everybody has mentioned here in Africa, if everybody is raising living standards to the point where everybody has got a car and everybody has got air conditioning, and everybody has got a big house, well, the planet will boil over — unless we find new ways of producing energy,” Obama said.

Obama is an idiot.
Energy is never produced.
It has always existed. It can only be transformed.
Energy can't be created or destroyed.
The best one could hope for is more efficient ways to make energy usable.
Spinning 12 billion horsepower of steam turbines using nuclear steam, to heat and cool 150 million homes, is very inefficient.
More energy gets dumped into the cooling water and into the rivers than is actually sent over high power lines using step up transformers, then step down transformers at the destination. Each time the energy is transformed it dumps more heat. Each time the end user runs an appliance he dumps more heat.
Heat released has been equivalent 20 kilotons every 5 miles across North America, from nuclear testing alone.
Twice that amount has been released by nuclear power generation.
Obama is right, the world will boil over if everyone in the world gets a big home with heat and air conditioning using the current wasteful capitalist methods.
Thomas Edison wanted every home to generate it's own power.
Westinghouse said he could do it so cheap people would be glad to have centralized power generation. Then came the corporations and stockholders who needed to be taken care of before you get one therm of energy.
A massive corporate energy conglomerate system that is severely wasteful and is used to take your money so other can live large.
Every home could be built with solar roofing shingles capable of meeting the needs of most homeowners, if it weren't for the government sanctioned patents that allow the people and the planet to be raped for decades before solar technology can be cheaply produced.
Patent laws, federal regulations and corporate ownership have wreaked havoc on the planet, for fun and profit.
Solar energy is converting heat from the sun into heat from your TV, washing machine, air conditioner etc. Less transformers equals less waste. Each transformation is another wasteful layer of energy conversion.
Corporate billionaire-ism, sanctioned by government regulation and protectionism, is not the answer.
Ice caps melting don't just vanish. They warm the waters of the world, causing more water to enter the atmosphere.
Obama uses more energy with Haarp than all of Africa.
