rforpres - not sure that didn't happen. but, if not could have been a  case of too much time between the time she was reported missing , maybe it rained between the time she was reported missing.  not sure, even if one of City dogs was not available they typically call in one of the other K( teams in the area.

She was reported missing as soon as her caretaker noticed within a few hours of last seeing her. K-9 search dogs NOT called in to get a scent that day.

Sheriffs K-9 should have been called immediately.

Amber alert should be for persons of all ages.....especially if one has a medical problem......adults are not taken seriously enough....it's a proven fact.....

prayers and God's help in this for her family....that is if it is Mrs. Wright......her daughter must be beside herself.....she nodded off only for a few of probably much needed sleep.....it's a hard task to be a caregiver...

Patches there was  a Silver Alert put out for Ms. Wright which is like an amber alert, but for a senior citizen.

NY doesn't have silver alert.  It's golden alert.
