Didn't even see this on the news.   Just a month ago

Historic street in the ALLEGED renaissance city.   Yep, the fancy street smack in between two streets overflowing with drug dealers, dilapidated houses, tons of blight.

It was about a month ago that I heard about a million sirens, and then nothing in the news. It could've been something else though, I'm always hearingmultiple sirens with no explanation following.
This street has a lot of problems, apparently. I discovered an article a while back in some publication other than a local paper, and the residents who in some cases poured everything they have into those houses were upset with the deterioration around them. Then-mayor Stratton, of course, blamed it on "not enough money to hire an army of cops", or some such ridiculous thing. Utterly incompetent, and dishonest.
Now they are trying to further put us on the road to ruin by giving away money to a connected developer, because of "deteriorating housing stock". What is going to happen to the gorgeous, historic housing stock on Morris? How about helping RESIDENTS, by lowering their taxes, putting an end to the influx of undesirables, getting rid of Bennett because he isn't serious about doing his job, etc? OMG, the people on that street could not be trying any harder, and all McCheese and co. do is undermine them in every way possible.

NATURALLY!

Let's see what those people no the one LONE person who claims the city is in a grand renaissance will say about this fancy street and an unreported incident such as this.

Not holding our breaths for an answer, the one who claims there is a renaissance will be TOTALLY SILENT
