Nope....i wouldn't pay $87 or $150 bucks to watch someone cook.....REALLY!!! that's insane!!!

You aren't a nayboob --- just a Libertarian, and I am ok with Libertarians.

I do have to agree about not spending that kind of money to watch someone cook.  I'd prefer to use that same money to buy really good ingredients from a local farm or small family owned market -- and then cook up a fine dinner and invite family and friends ... and even a libertarian or two.

Leave it to DV to say something that has him basically saying he's God's gifr to the world.   But look, he is unable to support himself, he can't hold a job, he loses his insurance license, and he can NEVER provide a shred of EVIDENCE of ANYTHING he says.

That's why nobody came. Another bomb by arts czar Morris. But don't fret the DEMS want to put more into his empty basket. Besides Proctor's did so great with the stroll-lol.

When Emril Lagasse was at B.J.'s Wholesale club, he attracted a few thousand people, but it was free.

That's because Emril is a has been -- no one would pay to see him.  He had to get Martha Stewart to bail out him out when his business went belly up.

Give up DV.  Regardless of who on these boards likes or dislikes Emiril, Martha Stewart, Paula Deen, Irvine, Rachel, etc. etc. doesn't matter, YOU are NOT an expert about cooking, what you say is only YOUR PERSONAL PRIVATE opinion.

The subject was showing how the high paid thief of the taxpayers' money is making stupid decisions, and of course, as a side note, is contributing to the drastic reduction in the city's tax base.

Well said!!!

Brazil knows about how stuffed shirts made bad decisions and decimated their country. It's the same situation in Schenectady...a bunch of ignorant, uneducated, connected political hacks got into bed with equally criminal contractors and destroyed the financial atmosphere in this City.

No amount of 'fees' or bogus-inflated-assessments on the homeowners can remedy what has been done. Metroplex should be abolished, Galesi should begin to pay his way and all the non-paying-tax-exempt-multi-million-dollar businesses Downtown (including Proctors) should begin to fix what they have destroyed...the future of our City.

Good point, MC. How many other people were in line for that job? What were Morris' qualifications? Who reviews his performance? Maybe if he would just stick to the job he gets very well paid to do, he would do better. Being an impresario/developer/entrepreneur/amateur director of general services/power provider/Patroon who left town, it just wears me out thinking about it. Why, even Harold Hill couldn't manage all that.

It was about 13 years ago, when he was still on top.
