It's sad you walk around under such emotional duress. Take your emotions back. To continually live in an irrational "what if" fear is an awful way to live.
They knew about this guy since April 2012 and they let him walk among us for over a year, that shows they didn't have anything on him and they had to create the scenario to arrest him, that is your classic FBI sting, they create and supply the so called weapons, in this case it just happened to be some star wars death ray
EXACTLY!!!!!

ARE PEOPLE REALLY THAT STUPID? No such device exists anywhere on this planet, nor will there be any time soon.
OK, some people are more educated than others, but anybody buying in to this bullsh$t, is straight up retarded.
Though it IS an excellent plan with only two minor drawbacks. One, there's no such thing as an atomic death ray, and two, there's no such thing as an atomic death ray. I realise those are the same drawback, but I thought it was important enough to mention twice.
OK, you could probably be killed if you stood in front of the beam from a good sized particle accelerator.

HERF weapons. High energy radio frequency weapons exist. They have for years.
I remember a few years ago a guy was arrested for taking the door off his microwave and running it all night with the open door facing an adjoining room in his apartment complex where his neighbor sleeps. I don't remember how they caught him, but they found it before he did any serious damage to his neighbor.
There are hundreds of videos on youtube showing how to make ray guns from your microwave oven.
Some people claim your Wi-Fi, the sun and cell phones are death rays.
The truth is radiation of any kind is not good for you.
There are industrial x-rays for weld inspection and other NDT applications.
I'm not super knowledgeable here, but I'm guessing two people - one an electronics person, and one who worked in heavy machine manufacturing, who were working on it for more than a year (?)... Just might know more than your average forum member on the topic.
Set up? - he approached Jewish group with the idea.
A guy from the KKK approached Jewish people about building a death ray gun to protect Israel? What's next, The Nation of Islam going to the KKK guy to get the plans to build an X Ray gun to protect Israel from its enemies?
This really does damage to the use of stereotyping box uses to demegouge voting blocs.

And I'm just guessing that the scores of scientists that have been developing weapons over the last few decades, would have come up with one long before some moron who was a mechanic for GE.

It's similar to the Republican situation... Republicans Hate Obama, more than they LOVE the USA. SImilarly This guy Hates Muslims, more than he Hates the Jews. If you consider that a weapon of this nature used by Israel against any Muslim population would incite Muslims worldwide to take retribution against Israel. He would have his most hated enemies at war with his 2nd most hated enemies.

I agree with you Jack... but some of the forum members on this board are wayyyyyy below average!
Weapons of a similar type have been used before. Read "Poisoning of Alexander Litvinenko "

No one knows positively how the poisoning was done...I have never read anything that was conclusive other than he was poisoned.
There is a big problem with a Xray weapon in a vehicle...metal... metal is a natural shield and the people that would be a most risk would be the perps..unless they encased themselves in lead.

Authorities accused Glendon Scott Crawford, 49, of Galway, and Eric J. Feight, 54, of Hudson, of creating the truck-mounted X-ray device so it could employed by Jewish groups or other organizations intending to harm Muslims. Though the system was never at risk of becoming fully operational, prosecutors believe the blueprint the men created would have resulted in something capable of being activated from nearly a half-mile away and causing significant injury without its intended victims every realizing its existence.
