Tuesday, June 18 2013, 08:49 AM EDT SCHENECTADY -- Four women and two men are facing prostitution charges for their alleged involvement in a sex-for-money operation.
31-year-old Jared Ball of Schenectady and 58-year-old Li Ju were arrested and charged with Patronize Prostitute, a misdemeanor. This charge means both men are accused of trying to pay a fee for sex.
25-year-old Charlotte Ashby of Schenectady, 43-year-old Paulette Bowman of Rensselaer, 52-year-old Doris Thomas of Schenectady, and 44-year-old Allissa Jordan of Schenectady were also arrested and charged with a misdemeanor count of prostitution. Jordan is also facing an additional charge of harassment.
No other details about the prostitution ring are being released. All six are scheduled to appear in Schenectady City Court on June 18th.
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
