Your post was about religion in compulsory schooling. An institution that did not exist during Jefferson's life.
My post was: " Religious freedom does not mean freedom from religion." In schools, in public buildings of any kind, on govt owned land etc.
Any govt approved religious function is violating 'freedom FROM religion".

I guess you should start with stopping the religous prayer before congess begins their sessions. Go after the big fish that have been violating it on a federal level. Why do you lefties only go bat sh!t crazy when it's in a state school? Oh yeah, it impedes your agenda to shape children's minds and values to not only tolerate but accept things like homosexuality, transgender, and abortion, as a normal behavior which most religions do not accept. It screws up your social engineering.

Yadda yadda yadda. NO Cic Bubby... that's your view not mine.
I oppose any taxpayer funded promotion of any religion.

But you did say that there is no Right to Privacy and that is the right that the Kangaroo Court STREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETCHED to create a bogus right for a woman to murder the baby in her womb. I suggest you actually read the U.S. Constitution -- which was written mostly by James Madison and NOT Thomas Jefferson as you incorrectly stated.
Oh -- and Texas' new law isn't about taxpayer funding of any religion --- it is about legally recognizing that people can exercise their Consitutional right to religious expression even in PUBLIC SPACES --- what a concept --- at least one state recognizes that we have Constitutional Rights and no dumb a** left-wing politician or left-wing nut special interest group is going to be able to take them away from us.
Now -- all we need is someone like Governor Perry to get elected Governor of New York and to the U.S. Presidency ... and lawmakers like the Texas legislature who voted for the law elected to the New York State Legislature and U.S. Congress from New York.

No I did not. I said it isn't in the constitution.

So then you must oppose Roe vs. Wade.

Yup, the Roe v Wade decision was a unilatetal amendment to the Constitution made by the Supreme Court. Even box now admits the decision had no constitutional basis.

Saul Alinsky permanently warped their brains. The perversion of logical thinking purveyed in his book Rules for Radicals polluted the minds of a generation. Thankfully there is a growing number in this generation that have been inoculated against these radical techniques that pollute the mind, and render it unable to think logically.

Box is an Alinskyite.
Geeze look at the convoluted mind of-MEN unable to have a rational converstion with a woman under the age of 30.
if you could just back off the machismo and speak with a woman that is able to get pregnant you would know that no woman wants an abortion. Either she wants a child or she wishes to avoid pregnancy..

What does Saul Alinsky and Rules for Radicals have to do with abortion? Did you quote the wrong post?

How do you arrive at that assumption from my posts??? To be "legal" something need not be directly mentioned in the US Constitution. Laws are passed every day that are not part of our Constitutional rights, but never the less LEGAL.

But if a right is CREATED that is not enumerated in the Constitution, there is an Amendment process. So the right to privacy used by the Supreme Court to rule on Roe v Wade is NOT based on any part of the constitution, which is how the Supreme Court decides if laws are legal.
When rights are not enumerated in the Constitution, the 10th Amendment says it is decided by the states.

Quoted Text
Roe v. Wade, is a landmark decision by the United States Supreme Court on the issue of abortion. Decided simultaneously with a companion case, Doe v. Bolton, the Court ruled 7–2 that a right to privacy under the due process clause of the 14th Amendment extended to a woman's decision to have an abortion, but that right must be balanced against the state's two legitimate interests in regulating abortions: protecting prenatal life and protecting women's health. Arguing that these state interests became stronger over the course of a pregnancy, the Court resolved this balancing test by tying state regulation of abortion to the trimester of pregnancy.
The Court later rejected Roe's trimester framework, while affirming Roe's central holding that a person has a right to abortion until viability. The Roe decision defined "viable" as being "potentially able to live outside the mother's womb, albeit with artificial aid", adding that viability "is usually placed at about seven months (28 weeks) but may occur earlier, even at 24 weeks."
