Very sad.
Yes, sad. And what is even more sad is that your buddies running the city prefer to spend taxpayers' money on their rich cronies downtown instead of spending it on the neighborhoods, where people live. Maybe if they'd stop the wild uncontrolled spending on downtown, then the neighborhoods would get needed services and necessary attention. If they weren't making the financially struggling homeowners pay the taxes of the rich political cronies downtown, maybe people would actually want to live in the city and there would be fewer absentee owned homes like this, like the owners of this one living in NYC where they don't give a hoot about issues in the house, and then things like this happen. The city leadership needs to immediately start working on the city and forget about downtown. Take away all those tax exemptions, lower the taxes on the homeowners, stop the uncontrolled spending on stupid fancy lighting and fancy sidewalks downtown, and provide the necessary services to the residents of the city in the neighborhoods. Fix the road IN THE NEIGHBORHOODS and forget about Erie Blvd. There was absolutely no need whatsoever to narrow Erie Blvd, redo anything, and most certainly NO NEED WHATSOEVER FOR "FANCY" LIGHTING. The neighborhoods---where the residents LIVE need better lighting. |
