....sort of.   Crowds at city hall, crowds of homeowners who are seeing their home values FALLING BIG TIME.

Co-worker just got back from waiting in line just to drop off their own form.  He told me there were also two guys ahead of him line line that looked like they were carrying several copies of the state's budget document, i.e., armfuls of grievances, probably an adjuster.

More EVIDENCE that home values are TANKING.

A city in a renaissance will NOT see home values falling.

And the cowardly (fearful) cuckoo (ignorant) dem cheerleader DV is not MAN ENOUGH to comment about people putting in grievances because their home values are falling

City values are tanking but the DEMS on the assessment bored have their marching orders. NO REDUCTIONS no mater what to cover the collapse of the resale market which the Gazetto will not report.
A renaissance where churches are closed for failure to pay fees and 700+ homeowners are thrown into the street by the DEM working together crew,

if we have to pay taxes.....it should be shared fairly across the board....to help support a community.
taxing some and giving tax breaks to others is nothing more than discrimination at it's best.

Example....cuomo just proposed tax breaks for businesses that will set up their businesses on 'college property'. These businesses will be tax exempt from all property and sales tax....AND.....their employees will be exempt from paying state taxes....while the rest of the community is shouldering the tax burden!

This is exactly what has happened in schenectady....cuomo should take a good hard look at schenectady and see how well that worked for the taxpayers!

We hear that the new restaurant on state street....Johnny's.....is always packed....reservations only. Heard the food is GREAT!! It's Malloz owned.
However.....how much in taxes are they paying?
Are they renting from Galesi?
Is Galesi paying taxes?
Just askin'

AMEN!!!!

This is why intelligent and reasonable people, like us, who see the EVIDENCE that tax exemptions have on the common people, we have an obligation to get this information out to the common people, the voters, the homeowners.

McCheese is probably running to King Andrew right now, trying to insure that areas around the colleges in Schenectady city are earmarked for these tax free zones.

MORE REDUCTION OF THE TAX BASE IN THE CITY.   THANKS TO THE DEMOCRATS!!!!!!   And there is NOT a adult aged mamas' boy cheerleader who can provide any EVIDENCE to prove that exemptions result in an increase to the tax base!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they use their own $$ over and over and over again and prop themselves up as do gooders but they aren't going to go over a
certain percentage to 'do good'.....wouldn't want to lose one vacation home on the islands now, would they?

Hummm, what are the chances that this Galesi 100% tax exemption will end in 2013????

Here's my prediction, Center City gets another 10 year 100% tax exemption starting 2013 and ending in 2023.

If not, Mallozzi rent will skyrocket.

For the record.

NOPE, the 100% tax exemption has NOT ended!!!!

DV doesn't like negativity, but since he is NOT a taxpayer, he does NOT understand that for the financially struggling homeowners, there is NOTHING to be positive about when the homeowners must pay their own taxes PLUS the taxes of the multimillionaire Galesi.

Based on the new assessment roll, the 100% tax exemption still exists.

Based on the record Rachel posted, the tax exemption would continue THROUGH the 2013 tax year.

As I have the intelligence to tell the real facts (DV will dispute however), the 2013 assessment roll is reflective of tax exemptions for the tax year 2014.

Let it be known that the assement roll as been updated to reflect the new Galesi ownership, and the assessment roll shows yet another 100% tax exemption for a property assessed for over $13 million.

Once again, the DEMs in the city/county/plex stick it to the homeowners, the DEM leadership continues to cause a reduction in the tax base in the city!

Of course, we know that DV is too chicken to admit that the tax base is falling, so he won't respond/post to this thread; he darn well knows that I have the evidence to prove what I say, and if anyone needs to see it, I will post it!

Maybe they're not paying rent on State Street....maybe Galesi will need to ask a favor from them in the future...maybe Galesi is just wetting his beak.

598 grieved their assessments, waiting to hear home many were successful. Of course only one person in local government is
transparent.

Let me guess, the lone person in local government who is transparent and from whom you got this info is none other than Vince Riggi, the only true representative of the TAXPAYERS.

We already know how many will be shown as successful.   ZERO
