Just a quick endorsement of 2 very fine establishments -- Annabelle's on Guilderland Avenue near Cleveland.  and Emilee's on Chrisler Avenue right next to the Hamburg Street bridge.  Wonderful people working there, good food and very nice environment.    Both places offer light fare.  I go for the burgers minus the bun (not that the buns aren't good but I am watching the carbs) at Annabelle's and the wraps at Emilee's.

Annabelle's also offers baked goods made on the premises including cupcakes (which I only look at and hear are very good).   Emilee's offers many flavors of Perry's Ice Cream (the BEST ice cream in the world .. no apologies to Stewart's) and is planning to offer Polish nights and German nights starting in the very near future.

Wait, he's been out to two restaurants.   And last week he was talking BBQ.    And yesterday he was talking about Dolce Vita and the rich (and FATTENING) bakery foods at the Schenectady government bakery.    Do these places take your food stamps?

From a guy who says he rarely goes out to eat.   YET ANOTHER FAT LIE.

Keep eating like that, from what someone saw your waddle in church one day recently.

(Ignoring whatever ignorant drivel may come from a pathetic monkey's a** nayboob.)

It is very important to promote and support our locally owned small businesses.  There are many fine places in our community but these two are relatively new arrivals to the scene and deserve a plug.  We still haven't gone to the new BBQ place next to the former Borst Tire location but we did visit relatives in God's Country (that is the area just south of here represented by the AWESOME Congressman Chris Gibson*)  and enjoyed a very nice Memorial Day picnic with family and good conservative friends of both the GOP  (God's Own Party) and Democrat persuasion.  Those folks are truly blest to be represented by a good Pro-Life Congressman.

we did visit relatives ... Memorial Day picnic .

Always "we,"  talk about a mama's boy.   Or mamas' boy.    Can't do anything without mommies.    Not even living like a normal adult man.

Hopefully, Perry's will consider bringing back one of its classic flavors, Zero Visibility.  It first came out as a tribute to the Blizzard of 1977 and was retired after a few years.  They bring it back every now and then.

Emilee's offers Perry's Ice Cream by the cone or dish.  I believe Gabriel's still sells it -- but haven't checked their ice cream freezer since last year.   Now Gabriel's is another great local small business .. along with Sal's Market.   And if you need a big sign to write your "I Love Schenectady" message on -- head on over to the best printer in the Capital District --- Vincy's.

All of these businesses continue to  contribute day in and day out to the wonderful Renaissance in Schenectady County.

Leave it to the guy who claims he eats "healthy" to be talking about BBQ, and all that pasta, desserts and bakery junk, ice cream.   Just yet another FAIRY TALE from the DVFOL

Yeah, and just remember, these businesses (Gabriels, Sal's, Vincy's), they are NOT creating this so called renaissance.   They have been in existence a long time AND they have been paying taxes.   So you can be sure they will close eventually.   Just like the long time TAXPAYING businesses downtown that YOUR DEM BUDDIES stole money from by making them pay the taxes of the billionaire cronies of the dems.

Tell us DV, how many TAXPAYING retail businesses exist downtown that have been there for 30 years or more?????   Well?????    Only one I can think of is the photo store, that's it.

So where is this renaissance you talk about????   Tell us where this improved Schenectady is?    Where are home values increasing?   Where are the home sale prices increasing???   Where the taxes coming down?   Where is the increased necessary services to the taxpayers?     Of course, you don't know because you are not a taxpayer, you don't know anything about property values and taxes.   You know absolutely about the tax base, you wouldn't even know where to look to find out what the tax base is.

By the way, tell us how what the home sale prices in Rotterdam are doing.   can you answer that????    Are you MAN ENOUGH to answer that question and answer it CORRECTLY?

"Smacznego" is like "Bon Appetit" and means "enjoy your meal."  And when Emilee's begins serving Polish food everyone will be enjoying the best cuisine on the face of the earth.

Oh yeah, you'll be there almost every day, all that sausage, the perogies fried in the butter and smothered in sour cream.   On top of your BBQ, pasta, and the government desserts.  Of course, your claim that you eat healthy and rarely go out to eat, NOT   (just another one of your LIES.
