A man from Schenectady has been arrested after he was accused of stabbing another person. Police took 29-year-old Michael Scouten into custody for allegedly stabbing a 34-year-old male victim at his Jay Street apartment. The victim was taken to the hospital with a stab wound to his stomach. Scouten is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
Jay Street is downtown. What a renaissance that is. I'm sure the planned halfway house will only add to the ambience. "It's like a little Times Square." Circa 1972.

This cannot be true! Both McCheese and Death Ray have repeatedly stated there is no violent crime Downtown. Rapes, shotgun attacks, stabbings but no violent crime. Too many unsavory characters ruining the elite renaissance.
