"Simille said he was was unaware that the soft opening was considered a private event, that he was not asked for an invitation and that his drink and food orders were taken without question."

That is the interesting part -- instead of just politely saying something BEFORE the order was taken --- they sat him at a table, apparently gave him a menu, gave him time to look over it and actually took his order.

Something like this would never happen at one of the MANY better restaurants in the Capital District.

Hey, DV, got any EVIDENCE yet to support your claim that the county taxes are lower than 50 years ago???????

Also, why don't you post/respond on these boards about topics about the falling home values, the lack of people willing to buy a home in the city, the increasing taxes.   Your ONLY comments on those IMPORTANT issues affecting TAXPAYERS is to spew nonsense babble.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

Quoted from Madam X
bt, I think you are right. The restaurant owner is the one who is going to pay the price for this, and it wasn't his fight to begin with.

EXACTLY!! i happen to know for a FACT that it is an issue between the two hair salons! Mazz should have stayed clear of the issue.
Mazz must have forgotten that he wasn't in schenectady...where ALL business folks are 'connected' and members of the 'friends and family club'.

In the Dirty of Schitnecktitty, this would be how things are "taken care of." Notice the outrage in a town like Loudonville/Latham over this? Here it would be "zzzzzz" because here "Fairness" has been snuffed long ago as a general concept, and that started with the local pols and govt

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Here, people don't understand public versus private, the constitution, the city charter, rule of law, where money comes from, civil rights....
