If the bridge is unsafe, isn't it unsafe for the mail to travel under it?

Should the trains be allowed to risk the lives of the AMTRAK travelers driving under a Federally
decreed unsafe bridge?

It is a safety issue and the trains should be rerouted.

The city needs to agree with the Fed and order the closing of that section of railway.

Then if AMTRAK forces the railway to stay operational, they will make themselves fully liable.

If the bridge is too unsafe to drive one ton over it, it certainly should be unsafe for
150,000 tons to rumble by below it?
