Someone saw something unusual down at the college, I passed it along, and now I know what happened. Sometimes we don't see events in the paper and would like to know more about what is going on around us. If you can't tolerate that for some reason maybe you should stick to reading the Gazette but I don't think you will get the whole story there either.

Well then I would just ask that when posting rumor, gossip, innuendo and speculation you label it as such. Some folks less gullible than I may read untruths and report them elsewhere as gospel. Some here fancy themselves as an alternative to other news outlets. When you engage in rumor-mongering it paints that alternative in a bad light.

Madam X was not dealing with rumor or innuendo. There was some kind of police activity not only in the Union College area but also between Liberty Street and State Street. Now, it was either that they were looking for someone or something -- or just a coincidence that they all decided to take a walk around those areas on a nice day at the same time. Personally, I don't believe in coincidences.
