Now I see why there were protestors near Baker Avenue - there is a district office for Phil Steck near there now. I'll have to stop by and tell him what I think of his representation. If he ever shows his face there again.
The Pig Out barbecue business is up for sale a few doors away. Barbecue does not seem to be a good fit for that location. The liquor store in the same building has improved its interior. It had kind of a temporary look to it for a while. The florist moved out, as did the shabby style furniture place, but the florist is supposed to be moving back in after renovations. That frame shop and the other businesses that were going in the former Salamack's don't appear to be happening. A lot of movement, but overall the area is doing well. |
