...Rotterdam double homicide.

Here Box A Rox have at it. While you're at it why not ask the admin to relocate your post in the other thread to this one.

"Holy crap!! Did she EAT Bob??"

Not everything on the Interweb is truth. Only a gullible fool would believe otherwise.

I am neither Left wing nor Right wing. I am gro-wing.

it is Bush's fault

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Joe brought up gun safety in the other topic, gun classes used to be taught in schools.

Have at what ? If she had a gun he would have taken it from her and used it instead. Like many security guards get killed with their own gun-

Those pictures kicked up some memories for sure   At age 13 once a week I carried a a shotgun to school.  It was in a cloth case.  I'd hand the bolt over to the bus driver and me with the shotgun in one hand and school books in the other got on the bus.  In the beginning it was sort of weird but after a few weeks no one thought a thing about it.  The purpose....the school gun club.

In the afternoons I would go load my own shells, of course under the supervision of the teacher.   Then onto the bus with all the high schoolers to the gun club.  Boy was I razzed. There were two other girls from the High School in the club and then this little quirt me from the junior high school.

A while later I went for my hunting license  We had to take a test shooting at a target with a 22.  You know where it was done?  In the next town over at their high school. They had a shooting range downstairs.  Boy when I think about all the lead that must have been in that place.  That school had a rifle and pistol club.  They were state champs one year.

People are leaving themselves wide open to be defenseless with all this gun law crap.  Everyone should spend some time learning to use one.  Everyone should have the right to own one let them choose.

Personally I don't have one and don't plan on having one in the house.  I no longer shoot for sport so the only reason I would have one is to shoot someone if they broke in and even then I am not so sure I would pull the trigger. I most likely would have it used against me but I still wonder if I should have one in this city.  That is an awful thought to think you killed someone even if it was a punk from one of the gangs we have around here.

I don't want the government sticking their nose in where it doesn't belong.

Hey, I have 5 yes, 5 bullet holes in our front porch from a shootout.  Private message me I'll give you my address come count them for yourself.  Two guys with weapons carrying I think my friend said 25 rounds each had a shoot out on the sidewalk in front of the house a few years back.  Now those are who I am afraid of not some sport user.

I wonder if these women strangled might have had a chance to shoot the guy that was assaulting them if they had a gun.

You would be surprised to hear about all the home invasions in this city that get hushed up.  How about the two women, neighbors, who were beat up on their own porch front and chased into the house and were beat up real bad because while spending a nice evening on the porch they told some punk who stopped in front of the house got out of the car and pissed on their flowers they told them that it wasn't ok to do that in their neighborhood.   Did you read about that in the paper?  I don't recall it but then again I don't bother with the Gazette anymore.

Check out Riggi Reports #3 show with the interview with her. About 18 minutes in. Not sure which link will work.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZ28PhIOTv8   http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=zZ28PhIOTv8

OMG Cel I had no idea! I look at those pictures and I think "All boys. Figures." You were quite independent!

As far as political implications I know that many times in a domestic violence or stalker situation if the threat is severe enough law enforcement will issue the affected person a pistol permit. They recognize that they cannot be everywhere and can't guarantee an individual's safety for the time it takes them to get to your home. That's why when those jackasses printed the locations of people with pistols I thought they could be putting someone's life onthe line because if someone finds out that you've armed yourself that's enough to set off some of these crazies.
That said, a gun only works in a situation where you intend to keep someone at bay until police arrive, or kill them. It won't help you if you've already allowed the creep into your home, especially if they know you don't want to use it.
I think that this young lady didn't realize the danger she was in until it was too late.
