What I'd really like to see...

Is the police ticketing the people that insist on using their fog lights all the time - like ALL THE TIME.  Some of them, especially in conjunction with the regular headlights - can be blinding.

The city's coffers would be bursting at the seems if we started ticketing people for this.

(When driving tonight, a parked SUV, had headlights on and intense fog lights...  Essentially four headlights.  WTH is wrong with people)

Oh, you have it wrong.  The gun I have on my signature line is in memory of its successful use by the Federal agents in seizing and burning down the Branch Davidian compound in Waco Texas.

I really don't remember the outcry for banning AR style rifles and other "weapons of war" after that massacre.  Anybody paying attention knows that is because the box's and patches' of the world believe the government has a monopoly on violence.  Even though it was one of the worst mass murders in American history, far worse than Newtown, and still never gets listed as a mass murder because the murders wore costumes bearing the state insignia, they are exempt.

You have it all backward...The average cop continues to do the job for a paycheck and a pension.  The exceptional person finds a new career.  The cops that quit the force do not hate themselves, they are dignified.

Cic continues to show just how much contempt he has for the police.
"The cops that quit the force do not hate themselves, they are dignified".

So RP, Do you still think that Cicero doesn't hate cops?

He has a heart, it's just hardened and black from all the bitterness in his soul.

For Cicero & Henry:
Quoted Text
An old man said to his grandson, “Boy, I have two tigers caged within me.
One is love and compassion. The other is fear and anger.”
The young boy asked, “Which one will win, grandfather?”
The old man replied, “The one I feed.”

Which tiger are you feeding?

Jeez box, you are hell bent on trying to define my emotions.  Box, no matter how many disagreements I've had with you on the message board, I don't hate you.  I oppose organized labor and unions which I assume you were a member of, it doesn't mean I "hate" you or every union member.

I hate murders, thieves, kidnappers, and all the people that feel they have a right to commit the acts.  I just don't believe like you that the government can permit a select group of people to commit these acts lawfully.

No Cic, you don't display hatred for the GOVT when you condemn and insult the police, you display
hatred for the police themselves.
If police brutality is your issue, then address that problem with the CEO, the police chief, the mayor,
the governor, etc.
Your hatred isn't directed towards police chiefs, mayors, or governors... it's directed explicitly at the
UNIFORMED (costumed) policeman on the street.

From reading your posts, I think that you are so extreme on this issue that you consider your view
to be "NORMAL" or "AVERAGE" instead of being so far out of the norm that the word "EXTREME" is
all that fits.

Box, you separate the gangster from the gang leader, I don't.  Al Capone's henchmen are just as culpable as Capone.imo.

If the IRS agent breaks down a persons door using AR 15's and tactical shotguns because that person didn't willingly hand over the governments cut, then kidnaps them and throws them in a cage, I don't think it is any more just than when Capone and his henchmen do it just because a judge approved it.  Only to give that extorted money to the government so the President's family can go on yet another million dollar vacation or play another round of golf.

It's not the police violence that everybody recognizes as police brutality that is the larger problem even though it is horrific.  It is the constant threat and willingness to murder, steal, or kidnap at the command of their political leaders.

Cic, you really DO have a problem.

No problems here.  It's well document.  I know you like to make believe Waco was a legitimate massacre, problem for you is that I don't live in that fairy tale land.  And the grand scale of Waco is just the most egregious.  That doesn't include the SWAT raids that take place daily around the country.  And most are drug prohibition raids, nothing to do with public safety.

Box, when you see videos of police beating or tasering a citizen, who do you sympathize with, the assailant(cop) or the victim?
