They still need probable cause to stop you.  Avoiding a checkpoint isn't probable cause.  You have to violate a traffic law.

Yes that is what it is supposed to be but just like these checkpoints they have no probable cause to stop you there yet they do it.

random checkpoints are not illegal - you may not like them but they have passed constitutional muster

I didn't post this for you I posted it for the actual taxpayers of this city to possibly save them time and money, it was you who got bent out of shape because I warned other citizens about the revenue check point.

If you're not guilty, what are you worried about.

But, since Curry Rd is closed, this might be the alternate route to Altamont.   Easy

speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

You don't want to give the government your money - just get your car registered, inspected - seems fairly simple.

that's why these stickers are color coded.....so it would be EASIER for cops to see!!!!!  They can be seen at a distance....just like license plates.....just like seat belts. Looks like cops are too busy on their cell phones, or on their on board lap tops or at their kids ball game, or at their girlfriends, or cutting deals with drug dealers.....instead they park on the side of the road and harass citizens on EASTER WEEKEND!!! OMG!!

It's just a money grab and an 'unnecessary' use of force and a personal infringement.

What country do you live in MC1!!
What constitution do you follow???
Americans have the right to refuse being detained WITHOUT probable cause.....get it???

they can already see your 'visible' registration/inspection stickers and can run you plates!! Isn't that ENOUGH???

Well your welcome, amazing how some get pissed off as if I told them to break the law, I simply want to save people their time and hard earned money, not everyone can get paid to sit on the side of the road all day

Not guilty that you are aware of.  If you weren't aware that you have a marker light out, you are in violation of a traffic safety law and can be issued a ticket at the costumed officers discretion.

A few years back my daughter who is safety conscious and always wears her seat belt drove past that same area to go to Hannaford Plaza. On her way
back was stopped by a cop near the bridge, he said she was not wearing her seat belt when she had passed 1/2 hour earlier.   She assured him she was.

I'm glad Henry posted the "warning" as you can be stopped and ticketed and whose word will the court take.

Sure because it was sold on the bs excuse of safety when you and me know what the real reason is. And I will post whenever I can and warn people of the scumbag tactics being used by law enforcement to f*** the taxpayers even more. If I stopped one person here today from getting a ticket I will be happy sorry if you don't like it.

Read Henry's description of the event.  According to Henry:
SCUMBAG TACTICS!
TO FU(K the TAXPAYER!

Can you picture yourself being the cop when Henry or Cicero drive throuth the checkpoint?

Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) - Child has Aversion to Authority

Quoted Text
Children with Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) show a pattern of stubbornness, aversion to authority, and frequently test parents, teachers limits, even in early childhood.

Some 'children' never outgrow the disorder and continue to have this problem with any authority
throughout their life!
Sound famaliar?

If your seatbelt isn't worn exactly the way that the state says it has to be worn then you can be ticketed for not wearing a seatbelt.
