Death Ray is at it again. Another "plan" to help the M & M boys and screw County Taxpayers. Death Ray has announced that Metrograft will buy the long vacant Mikey D's in Scotia for $1. COUNTY TAXPAYERS will pay for the site clean up and then be sold to Mazzone for $250,000. This will start a "renaissance" in Downtown Scotia? Maybe Proctor's can buy long vacant Roy Matthews TV?  Same crap to the same handful of
playas over and over. This will do nothing for the County, screw the County taxpayers and help the usual suspects. Again no out of State businesses, no new jobs and no sales tax increase. How bad are things?
Mikey D's closes in both RSM and Scotia. But do not fret. Death Ray is working on flour jobs for another socialist bakery.

It is important that certain business people be given en edge over all the rest of them.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

The same two over and over? One just got a restaurant in dead Center City to screw the other across the street. Now the other gets a Scotia bakery to screw the one Downtown. Smaller and smaller slices of a shrinking pie.
Fewer carcasses to pick over. How anyone can still support this joke Metrograft is beyond me. Disband it and have the Metrograft tax to go solely to property tax relief. Then watch a real recovery where every boat rises.

I concur, on all points. What does it take to get rid of Metroplex?
It's an insult to the taxpayers of Schenectady.
How long will this scam be allowed to exist?

Clean up is removal of gasoline contaminated soil. It was a gas station before it was McDonalds.

Apparently selling burgers for 10 years on contaminated land is fine, but not baked goods.

I believe the wording was $250,000 or less, for the purchase, depending on clean up costs.

supermarket 'competition' is a facade....

don't use coupons and stop using gas to market hop....THEY ALL ARE BASICALLY WITH IN $20 OF EACH OTHER...if you buy mostly
non-processed crap....

there are no 'apple coupons' 'egg coupons' 'meat coupons' etc etc etc....GMO and corporate farming has a clamp on the markets
and the local prices reflect the percentage of food stamps used in the area....

either way....we're hamsters

When the DEMS took over the County I ask a CONS leader if the DEMS will end Metrograft? {which was a Farley creation}. The answer "they will feast on it". It will exist until people from all parties demand its
termination. We can't afford another 10 years of this reverse Robin Hood. Not to mention the insane bonding that they a sticking on future generations.

It must have been McCarthy pushing to have plex do something in Glenville to start getting Glenville's tax base to plummet as much as the dems and plex have caused the city's tax base to plummet.

It's a fascist bakery.  The government doesn't control production.  It insulates the politicians for when the business ultimately fails.
