Did you catch that woman talking about the Tenants Association starting up, first meeting at the McKenzie room, didn't catch the date.

She said, "call Deborah at 357-8282"

ROFL.   It's going to be the "gimme gimme association."   The Deborah in question  is none other than Rembert, the phone number belongs to her son, but how it's a Rotterdam phone, not sure as he doesn't live in Rotterdam.  She's the woman who expected a taxpayer funded air conditioner.  The speaker and Deborah are budy buddy

Did you catch that Lorrie also saying also about minorities and jobs, she said "need to lower standards."    ROFL!

No wonder the city is in major trouble

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

the jobs offered by local SUBSIDIZED businesses provide poor pay scales.....

subsidized by:

IDA
welfare to work
and any other:

'we'll give you $$ to hire these folks to keep the unemployment #'s down. then we'll subsidized their housing, food
healthcare. Tell them their worth and then get them all excited when uncle sam delivers a refund check or actually a vote
purchase check, in which they feel rich for 3 whole days.'

OH...IT'S A PONZI SCHEME AND THEY LAUGH AT THE POOR AND RIGHT TO THE BANK.....sad bunch of humans

Nothing new here. Same DEM moron that wanted the City to pay for her free air conditioning. The shocker is that McCheese didn't say YES!
Tenants are also avoiding Schenectady like a plague. High taxes + DEM fiscal mismanagement= high rent.

Why should tenants and/or landlords follow the stupid rules when the code enforcers and section 8 and the rest of them don't even follow their own rules?????

We can't tell you the number of properties that are out of code and have been for years! Code enforcers have either been called with no respond or they have gone and never followed up on.

Sure you may read in the daily rag about how code enforcers are out in force....but in fact they haven't even scratched the surface!!!

The city is run by a bunch of dimwits who couldn't manage a lemonade stand!!!
