Schenectady has jointed dozens of other municiplaities in committing to a new "open government" website run by the state.
Governmental agencies are supposed to post data -- charts, spreadsheets and more -- on the site so taht the public can quicly and easily see them.
But don't expect much data from Schenectady anytime soon.
"Some of our records are still manual," Mayor Gary McCarthy said.
See, the dems don't want the taxpayers to know how they take care of their own political cronies, so they spend the taxpayer money on downtown instead of spending the taxpayers' money on putting records in computer form---records that the taxpayers have a birthright entitlement to know AND have EASY ACCESS to from their own computers in their own homes.
Now, just need to get Rotterdam do post all the ethics and financial disclosure forms online.
