...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

i've said it before and i'll say it again..............proctors HAS to exist for the other businesses to exist!! They make most of their revenue when there is a 'function' going on at 'tax paid' procors. But let's not forget that almost ALL of these businesses, altho not doing 'great'...........can pocket the profits they DO make, since they pay little to no taxes!! It's a liberal's vicious circle jerk......they take from the residents and give to 'their choice of family and friends'. These businesses are being propped up and are existing solely by the overburdened tax payer!!!

The only thing that is 'real' is that the residential sections are crumbling,(that spills over to the entire county) home values are plumeting,  crime is rampant, the school district is substandard and it is over run with drug dealer/addicts! FACT!! (Just ask any government worker why they won't MOVE to the city...DUH)

A good review. The proof is in the imploding City revenue figures. Because of idiots like McCheese, Morris & Gillen valuable property was given away on one bid contracts with never ending tax exemptions. There is no way out of the hole the DEMS have dug. Long time residents are desperately trying to sell but having to take property off the market because of the insane DEM property taxes. We have Mayor McCheese
nickle and diming landlords forcing more property on a glutted City property market with no buyers. Trustco HQ on Erie is a monument to the stupidity of local DEMS. Another valuable property off the tax rolls
because of total stupidity.

Instead of driving through 5 seconds of the 'improved' Downtown area, could you imagine how much different the City would have become if the homes leading up the Broadway Hill going to Rotterdam and through the Bellevue area were awarded Plex facade grants? Or the homes on Nott Terrace? Or those on Rugby..Union..Eastern Parkway...etc..etc...

People driving past improved homes? Revitalizing neighborhoods?

That would have improved the tax base by bringing pride back into the area, homeowners into the neighborhoods and would have helped the schools in the long run.
