Vince Riggi was interviewed on TV again today. This issue with city taxpayers having to pay Proctors for broadcasting the meetings on TV which is strange since city taxpayers already pay for the broadcasting through their subscription to Time Warner.
So let's see how the dems and their buddies answer that question.
And then, Vince mentioned, when he discovered it in the budget, that city taxpayers pay $10,000 to Proctors for old photos of Schenectady to hang, I think Vince said, in the arcade.
Proctors collects all kinds of rents, tens of millions of tax dollars to redo the whole place inside and out, a golden calf ceiling, charges $75, $100, $150 or more for shows, has the county taxpayers pay King Philips over-priced salary which is way way way beyond the norm for a CEO of an NFP (unless the CEO is a medical degreed persson), Proctors which forces people to pay to be volunteers, hosts all kinds of super expensive lavish weddings, banquets and soirees, but then Proctors refuses to pay a dime in taxes or even a pilot, and it's CEO lies and takes a STAR exemption illegally, then uses taxpayer money with the help of the city to try to sell his overpriced house, let's see the cheerlear explain how these represent services to the poor. A not-for-profit exists to provide services to people, not for the entity and it's employees to get rich and avoid taxes.
And what is going to happen to the taxes when the interest goes up because the credit rating will again be lowered, and that's after the insurance issue because the mayor wasn't watching the issues with too many accidents?
Of course, those that praise the mayor and Gillen, shake pom poms for wild spending of tax dollars, notice how those people refuse to address these FACTS, pretend they don't exist,
