Donald Birch not a direct quote but saying he could beat McCarthy in a debate drunk lol   I like that guy.

Then the usual three minutes are up for most but one woman went on and on.

I don't know what Brucker was doing when Mary McClane was almost done speaking but she (Mary) was pissed.

Brucker is famous for gasping, sighing out loud when speakers she does not agree with are trying to get their point across. Incredibly rude and unprofessional. Yet, no one says a word about it - not even the reporters sitting a few feet away

She is just emulating McCarthy.

They both have no idea how to conduct themselves in public...around the public...or for the public for that matter.

So Birch is going to run for mayor, and that Debra Rembert is too.   Or did she say she'd run for council, one of her friends is that woman yesterday who was saying people need jobs and insinuated the city has to help them get jobs, the speaker's name was Lorrie and the last name escapes me.

I'd take Birch over Rembert.  You think there's socialism now in the city, there wouldn't be a "city swimming pool" at the park, rather every "poor" family would have a pool in their back yard at taxpayer expense.   And they'd all have a couple air conditioners too.

Dam I'd buy a ticket to see a Birch-McCarthy debate.    The guy gets somewhat nervous as he has so much to say but he sounds very
well educated and I think he'd have some good ideas.

I hate how Mary McClane and others are mistreated regarding the three minute time limit, but then others can ramble on.

Exactly.  Worse than that it comes through with extreme arrogance.  It affects the culture of the city.

Arrogance in the Building department, assessors office, etc.

Brucker is the one who was quoted in the paper as saying "it's the democratic process" when she was questioned about her attempt to install a losing city council candidate in a vacant seat. "The democratic process". Yep. Not too many smarts, as my father used to say.
I was waiting for an explanation of that remark, but I didn't hold my breath, thank goodness.
