Americans in North Carolina Take On The GOP

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral
philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Look at that, the handout crowd is organizing again.  I was almost on board with them when they talked about extreme legislation taking from average Americans and giving it to the wealthy.  Then it went off the tracks when they suggested that the government take their money and give it back to them in the form of entitlements.  Are these people scared to manage their own money?  Why wouldn't their solution be to take the money that is given to the wealthy and keep it themselves?  Another incredible job by the government to brainwash people to the point they are now scared to manage their money.

TRUTH....handing it over to 'experts' ? really? what is wrong with us....that's just insulting....some folks would have
to make the giant general assumption that most of the populace IS THAT STUPID/LAZY and that they can get away
with placing value on everyone's cast in the system....

Another TeaBagger Bites the Dust!

"Bachmann's Departure Relieves GOP Headache"

Quoted Text
Rep. Michele Bachmann's decision to retire from Congress next year in the face
of investigations by at least five different government agencies will bring to a close a political
career full of sound and fury, signifying -- well, not much.

She was among the first Republicans to openly embrace the growing power of the Tea Party. A political
outsider during her career, Bachmann embraced the challenge Tea Partiers represented to Republican
leadership along with its opposition to most of President Obama's agenda.
But Bachmann's bombastic personality led to almost constant controversy. Her staff turned over
constantly; almost monthly, it seemed, she had a new person speaking on her behalf. The pollster
she first hired to conduct surveys for her presidential campaign, Ed Goeas, left little more than a
month after her Iowa straw poll victory; at least two of her former Congressional chiefs of staff
now openly ridicule her in the media.

The FBI, the Federal Election Commission, the Office of Congressional Ethics, the Iowa Senate Ethics
Committee and the Urbandale, Iowa, police department are all investigating various aspects of
Bachmann's campaign.

Want the TRUTH?
Republicans LIE!

Study: Media Fact-Checker Says Republicans Lie More

Quoted Text
A leading media fact-checking organization rates Republicans as less
trustworthy than Democrats, according to a new study by the Center for Media
and Public Affairs (CMPA) at George Mason University. The study finds that
PolitiFact.com has rated Republican claims as false three times as often as
Democratic
claims during President Obama’s second term. Republicans continue
to get worse marks in recent weeks, despite controversies over Obama administration
statements on Benghazi, the IRS and the AP.

According to CMPA President Dr Robert Lichter, “While Republicans see a credibility
gap in the Obama administration, PolitiFact rates Republicans as the less credible
party.”

   No Surprise Here!

Quoted Text
The study examined 100 statements involving factual claims by Democrats (46 claims)
and Republicans (54 claims), which were fact-checked by PolitiFact.com during the four month
period from the start of President Obama’s second term on January 20 through May 22, 2013.

A new Quinnipiac poll finds that of the three controversies surround the White House -- Benghazi,
IRS targeting and seizing reporter phone records -- 44% of voters see the IRS probe as the most
important, with 24% citing Benghazi and 15% picking the AP records seizure.

But voters say 73% to22% that dealing with the economy and unemployment is a
higher priority than investigating these three issues.

The GOP and it's Delusional Abortion Plan

Oklahoma State Rep. Doug Cox (R) wrote in the Oklahoman that the Republican party supports abortion
laws that don't work "in the real world."

"As a practicing physician (who never has or will perform an abortion),
I deal with the real world.
In the real world, 15- and 16-year-olds get pregnant (sadly, 12-, 13- and 14-year-olds do also).
In the real world, 62 percent of women ages 20 to 24 who give birth are unmarried.
And in the world I work and live in, an unplanned pregnancy can throw up a real roadblock
on a woman's path to escaping the shackles of poverty."

"Yet I cannot convince my Republican colleagues that one of the best ways
to eliminate abortions is to ensure access to contraception."

The Obama Recovery Continues!

The Medicare Trustees had great news for American seniors on Friday: the program’s solvency has
been extended for two full years past what the trustees predicted in 2012.
In their annual report, the trustees wrote that Medicare’s hospital insurance trust fund will be fully
solvent through 2026. That’s over a decade longer than what the trustees projected back in 2009.
In general, Medicare inflation has been lower than general economic growth over the last three years.

No loss, she jumped on the dying bandwagon while those who knew the Tea Party was being hijacked bailed years earlier

House GOP Revolts Again

In order for John Boner to pass any kind of legislation... HE NEEDS NANCY PELOSI'S HELP!

"The defeat of the farm bill -- after both parties were privately bullish it would pass with large margins
-- shows ... how massively dysfunctional the House and its leadership have become. And it plainly reveals
that a bipartisan rewrite of the nation's ... politically charged immigration laws are a pipe dream in the
House, at least for now. Preventing a government shutdown and debt limit fight are not far behind."

The "Tea Party" is dead.

John Boner and Nacey Pelosi is a natural partnership.  Just like Dick Cheney, Lindsey Graham, and John McCain defending Barack Obama's NSA domestic spying and Drone policies.  The statists will be forced to come together and reveal what has always been the reality.  That the statist in both parties were putting on nothing more than theater.
