 State Street Mr James has moved.jpg Who knew that Mr. James had once been somewhere else? In this shot, it had recently moved down by Barney's. Apparently you once had to walk upstairs from Baum's Newsroom to get to it. This gives a nice view of Douglas Shoes, the Woolworth's on the corner, and the whole other side of State Street, with the Roasted Peanuts sign visible on the right, the Fox & Murphy sporting goods sign on the building that would house Beauville's and then Peggy's restaurants, and way up the street, the giant Hotel Foster sign.
