We who are taxpayers paying King Philip's salary are paying his salary so he can attend breakfast at the Desmond and lobby legislators to do/say this:

Quoted Text
If casinos are approved, Proctors CEO Philip Morris said they should not include 1,200 to 1,500 seat performance venues that might compete with existing theaters. "I think it would be a diaster," he said.

He wants his monopoly, he wants no competition.  His monopoly is at taxpayer expense and he uses taxpayer money to lobby to prohibit any competition!

This guy and his county taxpayer funded salary must go!!!!    His refusal to pay any taxes on top of tens of millions in taxpayer money are disasters for the taxpayers

Proctors MUST start paying taxes!   Taxpayers CANNOT afford it, and I DEFY ANYONE to provide any EVIDENCE to show ANY positive effect of Proctors on home values IN the city, on the desirability to buy a home IN the city, on the tax base IN the city, etc.

By the way, anyone know what happened with the theft(s) from Proctors?   Investigations?   Arrests?   Etc?

We don't need casinos in Schenectady....every non-profit and connected business wins the jackpot every time they enter the Metroplex House-of-Fun!! When the City creates an economic false sense of capitalism (which is actually a communist-government-taxpayer-supported-entity), there is no way competition is a reality.

Proctors could NEVER compete in a NYCity setting...no one would put as many millions in it!! Schenectady has been bamboozled and now casinos are coming in?? Close Proctors, put in blackjack tables and MAYBE the taxpayers will finally get their taxes down!!!

I'm sure King Philip doesn't want any such casinos with entertainment venues anywhere within a day's drive of his precious palace with the gold ceiling.

Wonder who has the bigger golden calf, King Philip or that mother Angelica.
