Do you really think it's possible to get them all? Most of Purdue Chicken's work force is illegal. Why isn't anything done about that? Oh, that's right, they're a corporation, and we put corporations above all else. Ok, Obama only deported twice as many, but where were your complaints when Bush was only deporting half that? |

in agricultural losses, as crops rotted in the fields, officials in Georgia are now dispatching prisoners
to the state’s farms to help harvest fruit and vegetables.
The labor shortages, which also have affected the hotel and restaurant industries, are a
consequence of Georgia’s immigration enforcement law, HB 87, which was passed last year.
As State Rep. Matt Ramsey, one of the bill’s authors, said at the time, “Our goal is … to eliminate
incentives for illegal aliens to cross into our state.”
Without immigrants, according to a University of Georgia study, farmers were about 40 percent short
of the number of workers they needed to harvest last year’s crop.
Now he and others are learning: Be careful what you wish for, because you may get more than

Bush isn't president. Hasn't been in over 4 years. BTW...Obama signed an executive order to NOT enforce certain immigration laws and allows for illegal immigrants to apply for deportation deferrals. It's estimated that 1.7 million illegal immigrants may be granted temporary amnesty by executive order. So it's not the Obama can't "get them all", it's that he has ordered them to stay. He decided not to enforce the immigration laws. |

way for someone who will.
