First Cicero suggested that GunHuggers do not have the right of assembly...
Now he wants to force them to buy 'assembly insurance'.

Another Libertarian meltdown.

They need to pay their "fair share".

Are you suggesting that the gun group didn't have the right to assemble Cicero???

Of course they had that right... they also had the responsibility to reemburse the taxpayers for the
damage ( vandalism) done to taxpayer property.

Obviously they are looking to demand protest liability insurance for all future protests.

They can't ban protests, so this would serve the purpose.

...this ruse is priceless. When have we heard when other protests and rallies have worn out the lawn. Standing on the muddy lawn is now deemed "vandalism" when an unprotected group is speakng out against the gubbermint. If it was teachers, gays, blacks, illegal immigrants etc they would have never mentioned it. However, the real joke is that it cost 60 grand to replace a lawn that wasnt even a lawn since it was previously removed so that sod could be planted in sprint. True cost of damage: zero dollars. Truth is that the state is a liar for political talking points and the little canadien fairy godmother of the libs Casey Seiler is a suckhole for the government.

More smear against the law abiding at the hands of tyrants. Sic semper tyrannis.

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

America Supports Gun Control

Strong majorities of Americans say they favor stricter gun laws, including an assault-weapons ban
and universal background checks for private gun sales, according to a new national Morning
Joe/Marist poll.

60%, including 83% of Democrats, 37% of Republicans and 43% of gun owners believe that
the laws covering gun sales should be stricter.

61% backed stricter gun laws when a NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll asked the same
question in February.

The poll finds that 87% of Americans support background checks for private gun sales and sales
at gun shows, and 59% favor legislation that would ban the sale of assault weapons.

Good for them...it means they support banning weapons that account for less death's than hammers and crowbars combined....and it will do NOTHING, in a statistically significant amount, to reduce gun deaths in this Country.

When asked which he'd rather face in an altercation, Tbird chose facing an assailant with an assault
rifle and 200 rounds of ammo, over facing an assailant with a hammer/crowbar.

Wise choice Tbird!!!

(Kinda' makes Tbird sound more ridiculous than usual)

Ummm, what reduction of percentage of deaths nationally will the assault weapon ban produce??? C'mon, you know the answer!

LMAO!  DOUCHBAG???  (I must have struck a nerve)

The facts???
Is it a fact that you'd rather face an assailant with a AR15 than an assailant with a hammer???

Yea... that's what I thought.  Run away from your own post!

First, it's spelled Douchebag...second, once again, you don't want to challenge my statement that banning something that kills less people than hammers or crowbars will make no statistical dent in gun deaths....period.

Running?? LOL, Pot, meet kettle....

Box wants the physically weak in society to defend themselves from a hammer attack with a their own hammer.  Or, call the cops after your assault(if you are still conscious or alive).

First... let me say that I will bow to your expertese in "DOUCHEBAGERY".

Second... I didn't deny or challenge your statements.  I merely pointed out how irrelivant it was to
the issue at hand.

So now that I answered your post... how about answering mine:
Would you rather face an assailant with an AR15, or an assailant armed with only a hammer???
Seems like a simple enough question and with your data to back you up... how could you NOT
opt for the less dangerous AR15???

Ground Hog Day...again, it's spelled Douchebaggery..we'll leave expertise alone... I know you get a little frazzled now and then..
It is absolutely relevant to the issue at hand IF the issue is to reduce gun violence in a significant way...because this will ban not. What the ban will do is make the public feel good about itself because they got rid of the "scary" looking weapons. It's window dressing and that's it.

As far as what I would rather face? it depends on where I am and the situation at hand. I can think of several instances....close quarters being one of them, where an ar-15 would be less dangerous to a person than a hammer or crowbar.
