Michael J. Albers . Michael J. Albers Schenectady Michael J. Albers died Friday morning, January 11, 2013 at Ellis hospital in Schenectady. Born in Schenectady, Michael was the son of the late Lynnwood Albers and the late Doris Leffingwell Albers and educated in Schenectady City Schools. Survivors include his partner of over 19 years, Joseph Yanus of Schenectady and his sister, Debra Shuman (William) of Rochester, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A graveside service will be Tuesday, January 15th at 10 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park in Colonie, NY.
