Has anyone filed a complaint before locally?

What has to be done?  Do you go to the local (Schenectady) PD, and talk to who?  

What information needs to be brought?  The CC company has information they are willing to share.   No major impact but having a police report could be helpful later if there is a problem that hasn't turned up at the credit bureaus yet.
