Luckily for her she didn't have a gun.  The car thief might have been shot.  We can't have that.  The costumed agents will put the puzzle back together and figure out who killed this vulnerable elderly woman and stole her car.

DID YOU HEAR THAT WOMAN AT THE END OF THE NEWS STORY?!!!

The woman said she wanted a gun to protect herself!!!!   MY GOD!  What is wrong with this gun culture in America?

I also heard the man on the porch in the video say the neighborhood was going to hell.  Don't they realize downtown and Proctors is THRIVING?  They should be ashamed for being such NAYBOOS.  Those people should go thank Susan Savage, Judy Dagastino, Gary McCarthy Ray Gillen and the Democrats for the wonderful work they are doing through Metroplex to revitalize the city.

I can't believe you used the "N" word.

Seriously though, Schenectady is more dangerous than Brooklyn and Harlem.

More police, police grants, targeted enforcement, etc. all utter failures.

Schenectady should be offering a 50% discount for homeowners who buy a gun, not ask for them
to be turned in.

it's only as safe as one deems it, depending on the 'gang' one is familiar with. I don't mean street gangs as much as
humans that resemble themselves. It's like natural camo. And it isn't just about ethnicity. It could be dress/car/phone
accent etc etc......

Some of you need to get up to date. Harlem is a hot neighborhood full of yuppies and new condos. Schenectady is another Camden, NJ on a free fall to bankruptcy.
Sad story all prayers for the Greco family.

That's his opinion, but I wouldn't go that far.

There are lots of us that have put our homes up for sale (ours goes up in a couple of weeks), but the area is far from looking like sh*t and there isn't a 'criminal element' that has invaded.

What about the shooting and the guy on the motorcycle?

Oh wait, that was a movie they were filming.

The homes in that area are in decent shape, but the criminal element is not very far away.

Plus the taxes are the biggest crime.

Where is DV?????    Perhaps he needs to go up to Stanford Street with his pom poms and talk to those people who are criticizing what has happened to their neighborhood (while the DEMS have lead the city)

From Dec 4, 2011:
Not to worry -- the shrines for former Mayor Stratton and former County Legislature chairwoman Savage are still in existence ---   we built new and separate shrines for Mayor McCarthy and others.  I am not at liberty to tell you to whom all of the shrines are dedicated --- as the Democratic Temple is only open to privileged members of the Democratic party and we are forbidden to describe the full glory of this magnificent Temple to non-believers.

Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent.
Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and
speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
