Let me explain what YOU mean by this fellow American and fellow Honored soldier did by bringing a weapon into Mexico. He was in a ’72 Winnebago with his buddy going to hunt and vacation in Costa Rica. He clarified with 4, that is FOUR US Customs and Boarder Protection agents before crossing the boarder…YES PRIOR to crossing what he needed to do since he had this weapon. A vintage shotgun. They informed him to complete the forms and file for the required permit. He did and they were properly submitted to Mexican authorities. He again notified and declared the shotgun at the US Border with the agents, and then so again when passing into Mexico and was arrested by Mexican Customs officials when he declared the shotgun. There’s the truth, not just spin… fair & balanced!
